HY10 Global Ltd, the FCA-authorised electronic money institution, has been featured in L’Officiel Monaco, exploring how the platform is addressing a long-standing gap in financial services for ultra-high-net-worth individuals. From multi-currency accounts and a Visa Infinite metal card to integrated lifestyle support, HY10 is built around the realities of internationally mobile private clients.
The problem with UHNW finance
There is a peculiar irony at the top of the wealth pyramid. Individuals who hold properties across multiple time zones, accounts at several private banks, and complex family financial structures often find that moving money is slower and more fragmented than it should be. Coordinating currencies, compliance requirements, and foreign exchange across institutions can turn routine transactions into multi-day exercises.
The challenge extends further when family structures are involved. A principal may need their spouse, adult children, household manager, and a business entity all operating under one financial umbrella, with appropriate visibility, control, and separation. Traditional private banking was not designed with that kind of flexibility in mind.
A single membership, built for complexity
HY10’s proposition is straightforward. A single membership opens multiple accounts under one regulated structure, supports cross-border payments, and comes with a Visa metal card designed for clients who move between currencies as often as they move between cities. Where logistical demands arise, the concierge team steps in.
The platform holds FCA authorisation as an Electronic Money Institution, placing it within a serious compliance framework rather than operating at the edges of the financial system. Lifestyle and concierge services are delivered through a separate, wholly-owned non-regulated entity, keeping financial and non-financial functions legally distinct while allowing them to work in concert for the client.
David Hunter, CEO and co-founder, has spoken publicly about the underlying principle: that UHNW clients deserve clarity, speed, and simplicity in their payments and lifestyle services, rather than additional friction. HY10 does not offer lending, deposit-taking, or wealth management, choosing instead to focus on what complements existing private banking relationships.
Investor confidence and market context
Syracuse Advisers, a London-based firm working with private clients and family offices, completed its investment in HY10 in December 2025. Ozodbek Kamildjanov, CEO of Syracuse Advisers, noted that HY10’s platform aligns with the needs of internationally mobile clients, offering a modern digital layer to services traditionally found in private banking and high-touch concierge environments.
The timing reflects broader market dynamics. Research from Visa on international travel patterns indicates that affluent travellers represent a significant share of global travel expenditure, and demand from this segment for more capable financial tools continues to grow. HY10’s annual membership of £10,000 positions it firmly at the premium end of the market, in line with the clients it is designed to serve.
